Everybody's heard of sending an announcement to friends and family when a new baby arrives, but when a new four-legged furry friend comes home? We might just be onto a new fad. When a friend of mine adopted a new cat, she wanted to make sure her family and friends were aware of how proud she was of the latest member of her family. She opted not to include a photo of the cat on the announcement, but instead inserted a full photo in the envelope.

I created this two-sided postcard with pictures of my dogs, Cassie and Greta, advertising my services for pet stationery design. I've dropped some off at various pet places like groomers, boarders and rescue organizations.

So cute! loving it.
Great idea!! I will also do this when I will adopt a pet.
What an adorable design.
This is great. It really is like adopting a child- can't send them back! A big decision. These are great- maybe we should have a pet shower for people so we can get all the stuff we need!!!
